“The audience became part of the painting”

A large-scale interactive painting, bearing witness to those who have drowned in the waters, rose and fell with the river’s tidal flow. The mirrored surface reflected a distorted view of the river’s movements whilst capturing the audience’s image within the ‘painting’. This installation celebrated the Thames renewable qualities, as it was constantly changing.
